2016 - 2020 CDBG / HOME Consolidated Plan

Kitsap County and the City of Bremerton receive Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership receive funding each year from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). We--all of us--get to decide how to spend the money to most effectively expand economic opportunities, and provide a suitable living environment and decent housing--principally for our low- and moderate-income community members. Over the decades, this funding has touched countless lives and impacted our community in many ways, great and small.

Every 5 years the City of Bremerton and Kitsap County work together to gather data, statistics and feedback from the people who live and work here to develop a set of priorities and a strategic plan. This is where your voice is needed. The resulting Consolidated Plan guides our expenditures of these funds for the next five years.

2011 - 2015 CDBG / HOME Consolidated Plan

As a recipient of grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Kitsap County and the City of Bremerton participate in and maintain a Consolidated Plan. The Consolidated Plan is an overall strategy for housing and community development in Kitsap County and its cities. It is a prerequisite to receiving federal HUD funds and guides the County in its consideration and appropriation of grant funds. The Plan contains statistical information, vision statements, policies and strategies that will guide future uses of funds.

2006-2010 CDBG/HOME Consolidate Plan
